I was able to spend a bit of time this evening with my BF family. They are visiting all the way from Montreal! What a sweet family. The boys don't speak English much but were still able to communicate just fine through their smiles... expression is universal. Here are couple sneak peeks that I wanted to post before they shove off on their journey home.

Ahhh... Family! My sister and family were in town this past weekend. I got sooo many fun shots of them. Too many to post but here are a couple of my favorites. My niece Delanie is so unique and special to me. I call her an old soul... you can see it in her eyes and the way she speaks. From saying her #1 favorite food is black olives to saying "what about tonight isn't an absolute amazing evening for a boat ride" she amazes me. Then there is David... He is such a sweet boy that melts your heart with one hug. He is grip is tight and full of love. I had a great time and am fortunate to call them MY family. Wish they lived closer... but believe I cherish these moments even more because they don't. I love you guys!

This evening, I found myself sitting in silence and in absolute love with the state I live in... Photography has given me the outlet to take time and appreciate the things we rush by daily and take for granted. A simple bowl of cherries grown in an amazing town... the moon as she shines down on us in the evening. I appreciate that I now slow down at times and my eyes are wide open. It is a gift that I have a camera that is able to document these fine moments....

Ludington, MI... I am not sure why I haven't spent more time here. What a great town full of friendly people and breath taking sights. Perfect place to spend a couple of days with my family. They have a perfect dog beach... I am not sure who had more fun. Sad to leave, however, being only 1.5 hrs from home I promise to return. Too many sights to shoot. I will need to capture more!
